Title:  Accounts Receivable Manager - Internal Candidates Only
Reports to:  Vice President, Finance & Accounting

Job Summary

The primary role of the Accounts Receivable Manager is leading the team of Accounts Receivable Specialists that partner with FranklinCovey Clients to ensure the process management of our Account Receivables. Key responsibility for the leadership and success of collections with stewardship to ensure the team provides excellent customer service and resolves client issues and questions. 


Essential Job Functions

  • Leads the Accounts Receivables team providing managing and guidance of our collections processes. 
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the collections for Enterprise and Education divisions. 
  • Orchestrates the process of reconcile accounts, create template invoices, provide relevant documents, resolve clients billing questions.
  • Develop loyal relationships with the accounts receivable team and works with our clients as needed. 
  • Supports the accounts receivable team with their goals to scheduling follow-up contacts with clients to ensure timely collections and steps in to help resolve difficult client situations ensuring we receive all signed agreements. 
  • Key relationship builder with collectors and internal sales teams to reconcile accounts, including ensuring PO’s are provided when necessary for payments.
  • Experience and expertise with Microsoft AX Dynamics ERP system,, Microsoft Office Suite, Magento and Aventri.
  • Ensures team understanding of the Cash Application specialist job, assigns backup as needed to deposit checks, post lockboxes, charge credit cards and review accuracy of reports.

Job Requirements

This position requires a minimum of 5+ year track record in customer service, including being a proactive self-starter with people and leadership capability.  Exhibits strong organizational and problem-solving skills, customer service and professional presence.  Excellent written communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong track record for being a collaborative team player are essential.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.  Knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics is a plus.

 The position is remote with the exception of required days in the West Valley City Office for in person team meetings and occasional in person responsibilities.
