Title:  Art Director
Reports to: VP of Marketing
Location: Anywhere in USA

 

Job Summary

The Art Director will lead a team and take our creative execution to the next level. Ideal candidates will bring a mix of creativity, B2B marketing experience, and team leadership to the position. This individual will be an experienced manager with a track record of collaborating with others and producing exceptional work. To be considered for this position, candidates must submit a portfolio that demonstrates design skills and experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Balance execution of individual media projects while simultaneously managing a 3–5 person team focused on design, copywriting, and video.
  • Establish standards for production, productivity, quality, and client service.
  • Ensure team adherence to current processes, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and create strategies and tools to support design operations.
  • Collaborate with others in creating marketing plans.
  • Align team priorities with business objectives to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
  • high-level concepts from brainstorming by translating to specific actions and producing complete and fully realized designs.
  • Lead presentations for proposed concepts and coordinate production and dissemination of final project

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine art, graphic design, or similar discipline.
  • 5+ years as a professional graphic designer with 3+ years of experience in management role.
  • Strong experience in B2B and SaaS organizations.
  • Proficient with design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Website and digital experience required (WordPress and Marketo experience preferred)
  • Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent.
  • Understanding of accessibility and inclusivity concepts in design, such as readability, legibility, color selection, diversity, and language choice.
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
  • Excellent communication abilities with all levels and roles.
  • Ability to effectively interact with and influence a wide variety of personalities and opinions.
  • Strong working knowledge of copywriting, photography, and video production.
