Title: Data Analyst Intern

Reports to: Senior Director of Engineering

Location: Remote - Anywhere in US or Canada

Spring Internship

Job Summary: As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work with our product, engineering, sales and customer success teams to ensure that internal and external teams can understand how learners engage with, enjoy and are impacted by our learning experiences. You will develop reporting dashboards to monitor the health and efficacy of our product over time as we scale usage 10-1000x in the next year. You will also play a key role in our quarterly review process, leveraging mountains of data to breed actionable insights for our product roadmap and team strategy. Candidates that exceed expectations in this role may have the opportunity to join in either a data analyst or engineering role full-time post graduation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Use SQL and Mode to build actionable business reports to monitor our platform's health.
  • Handle and triage data reporting bugs when and where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure goal fulfillment through use cases.
  • Support and influence the customer-centric culture.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • 6+ months writing SQL required. Mode Analytics required.
  • Experience with Python, Pandas, and Numpy strongly encouraged.
  • Drive to continually improve upon your expertise and share knowledge.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, startup environment.
