Title:  Executive Coaching Sales Professional

Job Summary
The primary role of the Sales Professional is to effectively prospect their targeted list of accounts, skillfully diagnose client needs, and lead to solutions provided by Franklin Covey’s executive coaching division, Robert Gregory Partners. The Sales Professional will acquire expertise in Franklin Covey’s executive coaching and consulting offerings, build mutually beneficial business relationships, present compelling presentations, close business, and grow recurring revenue. This is a largely independent field sales role for a sales professional with a high degree of business maturity.

Essential Job Functions

  • Initiating new business development targeting medium to large sized accounts for strategic penetration.
  • Networking, marketing, and social selling to connect with mid- to senior-level executives and other key stakeholders to generate interest, pipeline opportunities and new business.
  • Highly skillful diagnosing and assessing client needs at a strategic and business outcome level. Executive presence and credibility in face-to-face meetings, live in person and live online.
  • Very technically savvy application of sales, platform and social media technologies
  • Designs account strategy and business development to develop new and existing accounts.
  • Develops and executes on territory marketing and management plan to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
  • Independently calls on mid- to senior-level HR executives and other representatives to generate coaching and consulting sales.
  • Writes and oversees effective business proposals.
  • Closes business consistently within the Franklin Covey guidelines developed for product and services mix and pricing.

Job Requirements

This position requires a minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably in a professional services environment selling to Fortune 500 companies.

A stable work history and successful track record of personal sales performance in a large corporate environment are essential.  Requires a consultative sales background with demonstrated skills in the areas of prospecting, lead generation, forecasting, and driving opportunities to closure.

BA/BS in business or related field is required. A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to success in this role. Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential; must be able to create and deliver compelling sales presentations to both line leadership and senior corporate executives within target companies.
