Title: International Project Manager

Reports to: Int’l Product Manager

 

Job Summary

The Int’l Project Manager, working closely with the Int’l Product Manager, is responsible for the successful launch and use of Franklin Covey’s learning platform for Education (the Leader in Me Online) outside of the United States and Canada.  The Int’l Project Manager works directly with FranklinCovey’ international partners and schools to help them utilize the tools and features of the Leader in Me Online to help their students be more effective in their lives.  To do this, the Int’l Project Manager provides technical and project management leadership to partners as they launch the Leader in Me Online for their country/region.  This job also includes technical support after the Leader in Me Online is operational in the country.  An important part of this role also includes gathering feedback on user experience to improve the Leader in Me Online.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Train partner webmasters and help them achieve certification in using the Leader in Me Online in their country(ies)
  • Provide project management support to partner webmasters to:
    • set-up a resource library and courses all of which may need to be translated
    • translate the navigation in the Leader in Me Online (where applicable)
    • set-up a partner landing page where needed (knowledge of HTML helpful) which may also need to be translated
  • Assist partners in setting up and training schools (teachers and administrators) to use the Leader in Me Online
  • Offer input to partners in structuring effective technical support for LiM schools
  • At the point that the Leader in Me Online is launched in a given country, continue to provide technical support to the partner as needed
  • Meet periodically with partner webmasters in the region to provide live / recorded training, enhance knowledge / skills in the platform, communicate changes, and build relationships
  • Provide strategic feedback on continued development of the Leader in Me Online
  • Some international travel may be necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language required (preference given to Asian and European languages)
  • 3-5 years plus of experience in project management, training, account management and/or technical support
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be able to create and deliver compelling, polished training presentations to business owners and technical personnel
  • Ability to work independently and/or in small teams and possess the ability to get a job done performing all tasks, large and small, with minimum supervision.

  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in working with and building positive relationships with businesses, organizations or teams with diverse languages and cultures
  • Experience in website or software development (i.e. HTML or other development languages) is a plus

This portal provides access to videos, lesson plans, professional development courses, assessment tools, and other resources and serves as a global community for educators to share best practices for implementing the Leader in Me in their schools.
