Title: Manager, Customer Success: Enterprise - Internal Candidates Only

Reports to:  Director, Customer Success

Location: Remote - Anywhere in the US

Job Summary

The Manager, Customer Success job has two parts. First, this person will work 50% of the time as an individual contributor Implementation Strategist. Second, this person will work 50% of the time as a manager of other Implementation Strategists.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Continue to succeed in your role as an Implementation Strategists, as measured by revenue retention, logo retention and qualitative client and Client Partner feedback.
  • Manage a team of Implementation Strategists. Be an excellent manager, as measured by team performance, team engagement scores, and qualitative feedback.

Job Requirements

Requirements for IS role:

  • Client-centric
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills and EQ
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • 3+ years’ experience with account management, sales, business development, and/or customer success for a complex sale
  • Learning/Organization Development background preferred; FranklinCovey content knowledge helpful, but not required
  • Achiever with Heart
  • Proficient with technology (e.g. Salesforce, Zoom, PowerPoint, Excel, modern web apps)
  • Able to travel 1-3 times/month


Requirements for Managing IS role, in addition to requirements above:

  • Record of high achievement as an Implementation Strategist
  • Ability to effectively balance the demands of the individual contributor and manager role
  • Exhibits characteristics of great managers (e.g. leadership mindset, strong communicator, good listener, cares about others, results and business-oriented, gives and receives feedback, leads through change, self-care)
  • Ability to effectively lead through change
  • Coaches and leads team to the identified activities responsible for driving retention and net renewal
  • Collaborative partner within IS function and across other functions
  • Strong data analytic and decision making skills
  • Empowers and guides team to make their greatest contribution for our clients and FranklinCovey
  • Interest and excitement in being a long-term leader at FranklinCovey
