Job Description

Title:  Marketing Events Coordinator

Reports to:  VP of Marketing

The primary role of the Marketing Event Coordinator is to support our paid and complimentary events under the direction of our marketing event team. You will work with and assist our event managers with internal systems, process management, event setup, reporting, marketing, and communication with consultants. The role will require strong communications skills and attention to accuracy and detail.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with our Marketing Event Managers to set up events, manage and oversee internal systems and processes for our paid and complimentary events. 
  • Create, manage, and process event setup in a timely manner ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work closely with and communicate clearly with our consultants.
  • Develop a system and process to meet the requirements with a third-party vendor contract, which could include reporting, invoicing, placing orders, and lead management.
  • Maintain event rosters and attendee lists.
  • Work closely with our customer service team and clients to resolve issues and create a win for our clients and attendees.
  • Complete administrative duties for paid events.
  • Keep accurate budget and reporting to complete accurate costs for events. 
  • Manage all invoicing/credits for our third-party vendor.

Job Requirements

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize with minimal oversight  
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in an ever-changing environment and list of assignments
  • Effective planning and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem solve
  • Ability to execute under accelerated timeframes and quickly adapt to changes in priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office, including e-mail, Word, and Excel
  • Experience in Salesforce, Aventri, Event Manager, Dynamics AX, and Marketo preferred
