Title: Senior Marketing Manager — Higher Ed
Reports to: Global Director of Marketing — Education Practice


Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our education practice to lead the strategic vision and tactical execution of the marketing plan for Higher Education. This new team member will be immersed in a culture of principled leadership and will gain hands-on experience with a leading, global company. They will play an important role in helping achieve the mission of the Education Practice, to enable greatness in students, educators, and school communities everywhere.

Responsibilities Include

  • Define the strategy and own the tactical execution of bringing the LeaderU product to market. This includes branding, positioning, demand generation, and product communication for both B2C and B2B aspects of the LeaderU business model.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing strategies to support business development and high growth targets for the Higher Education team.
  • Develop campaigns (print and email), nurture tracks, collateral, blogs, case studies, and sales enablement tools.
  • Update and manage higher education web assets, including the development of and collaborating with corporate marketing around the education pages on
  • Identify target personas and employ a variety of strategies for demand generation.
  • Manage social media channels and employ best practices in content marketing to build and engage followers.
  • Influence thought leadership and awareness through blogs, webcasts, podcasts, speaking events, and participation in regional and national conferences.
  • Manage the higher ed marketing budget.

The successful candidate must have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing B2B professional services for a high-growth organization. Experience working in the higher education industry is a plus.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in B2C product marketing.
  • Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational, project, and team management skills.
  • Experience in working with marketing automation, salesforce, and other marketing operational systems.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing technologies and channels.
  • Strong initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptionally strong written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
