Title: Product Marketing Manager
Reports to: VP of Marketing
Location: Anywhere in USA

Job Summary:

The Product Marketing Manager will be the intersection of sales, marketing, and product development. This individual will develop and implement strategies to position our products for maximized profitability and create the voice of the product outside our company. They will come to work every day thinking about target markets, what is needed to close more deals, and will provide salesforce with the resources they need to effectively sell to new clients.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with sales in developing effective marketing tools to both win new business and renew and expand existing customers.
  • Translate technical details into benefits for the buyer.
  • Provide direction and/or drive the creation of marketing specific content including collateral, white papers, customer presentations, customer case studies, and web content.
  • Work with our development team to define the messaging and positioning for new solutions.
  • Build and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches, ensuring marketing and product teams are working in concert to meet customer needs for rapid business growth.
  • Be an expert on competitive products, trends, and technologies so as to identify strengths and opportunities to improve our position in the market.
  • Work cross-functionally with other marketing teams—including demand generation, events, and analytics—to drive sales opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field.
  • 5+ years in similar channel marketing role in B2B product/SaaS business.
  • Solid understanding of marketing funnel activities, automation tools, and reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated written and presentation communication skills.
  • Creative, influential, and engaging with a proven track record of success.
  • Working knowledge of digital channels and tools to promote software products.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and full of ideas.
  • Ability to write effective copy.
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly when priorities change.
  • Ability to work across multiple organizations to identify and execute solutions.
  • Ability to develop and implement creative solutions and influence others in their adoption.
  • Strong project management skills.
