Reports to: VP of Business Outcomes

Location: Remote - Anywhere in PST 

Job Summary

The Senior Business Outcomes Consultant will focus on high leverage large deal client opportunities selling and facilitating FranklinCovey’s Business Outcomes Solutions (4DX, Sales Performance, Customer Loyalty).  This is a position that requires strong consultative selling skills.  It requires a person with former executive leadership experience who ideally has run a business unit of 200-500+ persons.  Will require expertise in selling and facilitating FranklinCovey offerings to organizations including all tools, online cloud-based applications and apps, conducting executive work sessions, and consulting applications of our Execution, Sales Performance, and Customer Loyalty solutions.      

Essential Job Functions

This person will partner with the respective Business Outcomes Leader, Managing Directors, consultants, project managers, and Client Partners to:

  • General contractor and oversight for large strategic consultative engagements, guaranteeing the successful implementation of Business Outcomes engagements within organizations.
  • Lead role for creating and closing business outcomes opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Personal 1:1 interviews with client executive team members to determine execution and capability challenges
  • Present Executive overviews to senior leaders of existing & prospective client organizations.
  • Conduct executive strategy design sessions with the objective of getting senior leaders on the same page with clarity and commitment around key business targets, metrics, and strategic narratives.
  • Conducting quarterly business reviews with the executive sponsor to review organizational and team execution performance using data analytics
  • Ensure the client accomplishes business results from the Business Outcome engagements
  • Leverage existing client results to radiate within an account and get referrals for new business
  • Close business consistently within the FranklinCovey guidelines developed for product and services mix and pricing guidelines
  • Design custom programs and tailor standard programs to meet individual client needs.

Job Requirements

Position requires former C-level or senior leadership experience running a business unit of 200-500+ persons and/or 10+ years of consulting experience with C-level and senior leaders.  Bachelor’s degree required with a master’s degree preferred. Must be able to create and deliver compelling, polished buyer presentations to both line leadership and senior corporate executives within target companies. Ability to facilitate executive design sessions that have a high degree of complexity.   A high degree of business acumen, and very strong understanding of key business drivers and metrics. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to understand, communicate, and work within advanced software applications relating to strategy deployment and capability development. High Character and competence. A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to success in this role.
