About the Role:

Our Senior Manager of Marketing Events will manage the overall planning and strategy for virtual, live, and recorded marketing events for our Enterprise Division. This leader is responsible to define the goals, objectives, and strategies to drive increased registrations for our events. They will manage the team that creates event content, designs marketing assets for the events, and produces the events. They will come to work every day thinking about what we need to do to increase registrations of our target audience. They will have the ultimate responsibility to ensure a high-quality experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and execute the overall marketing event strategy with key stakeholders ensuring high-quality in all deliverables.
  • Manage the events team to ensure registration, meeting, and pipeline goals are achieved.
  • Manage the team responsible for our revenue generating open enrollment paid events.
  • Provide weekly analysis and analytics on results.
  • Work closely with other marketing teams to ensure systems and processes are aligned.
  • Provide direction and/or drive the creation of marketing specific content to persuade people to register.
  • When live in-person events return, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing and managing venues, catering, etc.
  • Develop strategies and oversee tradeshows and conferences.
  • Work with thought leaders to develop content for the events.
  • Advise on event trends and technologies and propose alterations and changes to our strategies as needed.
  • Work cross-functionally with other marketing teams—including graphic designers, demand generation, product marketing, and analytics—to drive sales opportunities.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years in similar marketing role in B2B / SaaS business
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent experience
  • Webinar experience
  • Live event experience
  • Tradeshow and large convention development experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of event activities (live in-person, virtual, and recorded)
  • Knowledge of Zoom and/or other virtual event platforms
  • Demonstrated written and presentation communication skills
  • Creative, articulate, influential and engaging, with a proven track record of success
  • High energy, self-motivated, and full of ideas
  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly when priorities change
  • Ability to work across multiple departments to identify and execute solutions
  • Ability to develop and implement creative solutions and influence others in their adoption
  • Strong project management skills
