Title:  Senior Sales Partner

Reports to:  General Manager

Job Summary
The primary role of the Senior Sales Partner is to find, develop and grow FranklinCovey solutions within mid-large size organisations and grow sales revenue within an assigned list of accounts.  The Senior Sales Partner will build mutually beneficial business relationships, present compelling presentations, write proposals and close business.  A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive drive, energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity is critical to success in this role. 

This is an independent field sales role for a sales professional with a high degree of business and emotional maturity. Through training, this individual will acquire expertise in FranklinCovey offerings including All Access Pass (AAP), FranklinCovey’s flagship subscription product.  FranklinCovey is the world leader in principal-based leadership and organizational development solutions.  This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced sales person who wants to make a difference in the way people achieve excellence, both personally and professionally.       

Essential Job Functions

  • Designs account strategy and business development to develop new and existing accounts.
  • Key initiator of new business development through prospecting to medium to large sized organizations for strategic penetration.
  • Invites key decision makers within HR/OD and Business Unit Leaders to region-hosted marketing events.
  • Develops and executes on territory marketing and management plan to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
  • Independently calls on and meets face-to-face with mid to senior-level executives and other representatives to generate product, program, and consulting sales.
  • Diagnoses and assesses client needs.
  • Prescribes, designs and implements business solutions related to individual effectiveness, leadership and execution using the full range of existing or custom FranklinCovey content, products, and / or programs.
  • Writes and oversees effective business proposals.
  • Closes sales opportunities consistently within the FranklinCovey guidelines.
  • Regularly meets with clients to ensure ongoing success and continued expansion of services.



Job Requirements


This position requires a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in corporate sales, preferably in a professional services environment selling to Fortune 5,000 companies. Bachelor’s in business or related field is preferred. 

A stable work history and successful track record of personal sales performance in a large corporate environment is essential.  Requires a consultative sales background with demonstrated skills in the areas of lead generation, forecasting, prospecting and driving opportunities to closure.  A strong commitment to FranklinCovey’s mission, vision and values is essential. 

Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential; must be able to create and deliver compelling, polished sales presentations to both line leadership and senior corporate executives within target companies.
