Job Summary

FranklinCovey’s Information Technology department is looking for a high-performing Contracts Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assume a wide range of responsibilities, all of which will require critical thinking, innovation, and integrity. We are looking for someone with impeccable attention to detail, high energy, strong project management & organizational skills, and a positive attitude. Essential Job Functions

  • Review and negotiation of sales and service agreements and a variety of supplier agreements
  • Serve as the liaison to International Licensee Partner requests for contractual clauses related to IT security and compliance
  • Tracking of IT vendor Master Service Agreements, pricing, and annual renewals
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams during IT or Customer contract reviews, acting as a key contact for the IT Department by providing guidance on commonly requested security reviews, compliance addendums, edits, non-standard terms, policies, questions, etc.
  • Review proposed modifications to agreements and work with internal business partners and third parties to negotiate terms, and obtain approvals for modifications as required
  • Maintain processes between IT, Legal Department, Operations, Sales and other groups
  • Become a liaison to internal business owners for review and response to Customer Contract security questionnaires to support the sales process
  • Execute assigned projects as determined by the needs of the business, IT and other departments

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing vendor, supplier and or customer contracts (including drafting and negotiation) in a corporate environment
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Business Process Improvement, Agile or Lean
  • Excellent time management skills with high sensitivity to meeting deadlines
  • Ability to set priorities, be flexible and, handle multiple tasks, and to track and follow up on projects
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills while working collaboratively in a team environment with all levels of the company
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high-pressure situations, and take initiative where appropriate
  • Experience with data privacy rules related to PII (Privacy Shield, GDPR) and other compliance frameworks (Sarbanes Oxley, FARR, etc.)
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Experience with a contract management system, such as Apttus
  • Experience with electronic signature software-- Adobe Professional, DocuSign
