Title: Senior CX/UX Researcher - Innovations

Job Summary

The Senior CX/UX Researcher will serve as an internal thought leader on customer insights, stay current on industry trends, best practices and technology evolution. Responsible for designing, leading and conducting research to inform and influence the design and functionality of our digital platforms and learning and performance improvement offerings. This position will provide the insights that let us design an exceptional user experience.  The CX/UX Researcher will lead research from initial vision and methodology to actual facilitation of in-person interviews, online testing, and other methods through to the synthesis and presentation of insights.”  Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with product and engineering team. 


Essential Job Functions

  • Drive the adoption of User/Customer experience and other analytics into workflows and decision-making processes/CX journeys.
  • Interpret research results, perform analysis and gather strategic intelligence to provide insight regarding the consumer market, trends and our customer needs, pain points and behaviors
  • Audit qualitative and quantitative data sources and ensure data integrity
  • Provide internal business partners with actionable customer insights that enhance and guide effective decision-making.
  • Provide recurring/standardized reporting, dashboards for data visualization, and ad hoc projects
  • Facilitate user testing sessions and recruiting of participates
  • Manage CX/UX research suite of tools
  • Follow human-centered design principles to produce high-quality designs, from concept to execution.

 

Job Requirements

  • BS degree plus 5-7 years of strong CX/UX research experience with a background in qualitative research as it relates to CS/UX working across multiple platforms including mobile, web and personal computer.   
  • Expert on methodology, study design, and analysis/reporting, ethnographic research, site visits, interviews, voice of the customer, think-out-loud studies, and task-based usability testing.
  • A degree in in any social science such as Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, you know when to apply the appropriate methods.
  • Ability to drive change by clearly communicating findings to stakeholders and integrating user research into product designs and design practices
