Job Description

Title:  Internal Auditor Manager and Experienced Accountant

Reports to:  Corporate Controller/Audit Committee of Board of Directors

Job Summary

The Candidate will manage the Company’s internal audit function and will provide the audit committee with objective, independent appraisals of the Company’s operations and SOX controls.  The Candidate will also have other non-audit related accounting responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage and oversee the Company’s annual Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls testing
  • Participate in annual audit process and year-end audit work associated with annual financial statement preparation
  • Perform accounting duties in select areas
  • Participate in audits of international or subsidiary offices to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Participate in reviews of licensee operations
  • Conduct operational audits to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company’s operating procedures and methods. Suggest improvements to obtain increased efficiency or to lower operating costs
  • Investigate fraud cases and develop control procedures to prevent future losses
  • Perform financial analysis as requested

 

 

Job Requirements

Requirements

Position requires a BS/BA in Accounting.  Additional auditing, especially internal controls testing, and accounting experience is strongly preferred.  Strong computer skills with MS Office and must be exceptional with Excel.  The position requires exceptional people skills including written and verbal communication skills.  This position requires a high level of confidentiality and integrity.  We are looking for a team player with a high level of integrity and commitment to quality work who can thrive in a public company environment.
