Job Description


Title: Manager of Finance & Operations
Reports to: VP/General Manager

Job Summary
The Manager of Finance & Operations with Robert Gregory Partners, a FranklinCovey company, will be a key member of the team and will be responsible for the following items:

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Direct activities to properly record, gather, and analyze financial information.
  2. Develops budget & forecast and evaluates actual results.
  3. Completes accounting duties in select areas and assists with month-end accounting close.
  4. Prepare for and attend monthly review meeting with clients.
  5. Review and approve client contracts.
  6. Provide oversight for a team of client service coordinators.
  7. Collaborates with General Manager to drive business decisions.
  8. Gather and prepare necessary reports for the General Manager.
  9. Performs ad-hoc reporting, other business analysis and projects as needed.
  10. Reviews and approves employee/business expenses ensuring adherence to company policy.
  11. Ensures proper revenue recognition

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
  2. 3-5 plus years of experience in Finance/Accounting
  3. Excellent computer skills
  4. Able to quickly learn new systems
  5. Able to work in a team environment
  6. Able to consistently meet deadlines
  7. Able to maintain confidentiality
  8. Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
  9. Proactive personality that drives continual process improvement
  10. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills
  11. Able to interpret data and turn that data into information to be used in making business decisions
  12. Experience with database reporting and data extraction (e.g. SQL or MS Access experience) preferred
