Title:  Marketing Events Manager

Reports to:  Director of Events - Education

Job Summary

FranklinCovey’s Education Event Team is looking for an Event Manager to coordinate and execute FranklinCovey Education symposia events, and the annual Global Education Summit.   This individual will manage multiple projects working with various stakeholders to create exceptional event experiences for attendees. These events serve the purpose of both marketing FranklinCovey Education solutions to new prospects, as well as providing ongoing professional development opportunities for existing clients.  

 Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute event strategy with Marketing and Event Team
  • Coordinate with internal teams to determine event types best suited for territories
  • Negotiate contracts for event space, including food and beverage and A/V
  • Research and book keynote speakers
  • Generate registration pages for specific events
  • Travel to events and manage on-site event production.

 

Job Requirements

  • Remarkable customer service and relationship building skills
  • A collaborative attitude and strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivation to be self-driven in flexible in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coordinate with cross functional teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 2+ years managing events
  • Experience with event registration platforms
