Title: Project Manager, Custom Learning Solutions

Reports to: Manager of Custom Learning Solutions

 

What’s the job?

You’ll work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment managing the development of world-class deliverables in multiple modalities for FranklinCovey clients. You’ll be part of a positive and collaborative internal team working with clients across various industries, such as healthcare, energy, utilities and telecommunications. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our team meets all critical deadlines, stays in budget, and follows process.

 

What are the day-to-day tasks?

  • Manage a portfolio of Custom development projects
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Custom Learning Solutions to scope projects
  • Create comprehensive project timelines in collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders
  • Have a deep understanding of each project’s statement of work and contracted deliverables
  • Schedule, plan, and lead all critical internal and external project meetings
  • Accurately forecast and measure project budgets
  • Update project stakeholders weekly
  • Work with accounting to track vendor payments, invoices, etc.
  • Support continued process excellence in Custom
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with remote clients, FranklinCovey team members, and external vendors
  • Champion deliverable quality throughout a project

     

Job Requirements

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has 3+ years of project management experience and is

  • collaborative
  • proactive
  • process-oriented
  • detailed-oriented
  • clear, confident, and succinct in all communication
  • adaptable
  • experienced in project management software (such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheets), Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite

It would be a bonus if you

  • have experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • are PMP certified
  • are passionate about customer experience
  • have experience managing complex, high profile projects
  • have experience with learning and development
  • have experience with FranklinCovey content
  • have an excellent sense of humor and interesting hobbies
