Job Description

Title:  Senior Leadership Consultant

Reports to:  Vice President of Consulting

FranklinCovey employs leadership consultants to work with executives/leaders and mid- level managers to deliver consultative FrankinCovey’s Leadership work sessions.  Responsibilities would include consulting with clients to determine their needs, recommending consulting & training solutions, delivering single and multi-day work sessions and participate with sales teams on business development efforts.

  •  Essential Job Functions include:

    1. Master process and delivery of FranklinCovey solutions in the areas of Leadership, Productivity & Trust.    
    2. Consult with client prior to work session to determine client needs, participant profile and needs for implementation.
    3. Customize learning content and implementation to meet client needs and the business objectives that are critical to their success.
    4. Interact and adjust approach to audience appropriately (senior, managerial and supervisor levels).
    5. Create a climate during work session in which participants are engaged and eager to contribute in solving their most critical business and leadership challenges.  
    6. Maintain excellent knowledge of FranklinCovey content, effective consulting and delivery skills, and latest knowledge of business environment worldwide for effective delivery of relevant work sessions that meet the needs of FranklinCovey’s various organizational clients.  
    7. Conduct sales calls with Client Partners and continuously participate in business development efforts.
    8. Use visuals and visual support media effectively.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:

  1. Ten years of mid to senior level leadership or executive consulting experience is essential.
  2. Must be able to create and deliver compelling, polished buyer presentations to both line leadership and senior corporate executives within target companies.
  3. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  4. A high degree of business acumen with strong character is essential.
  5. Engaging and dynamic presentation skills are required.
  6. A well-developed pattern of achievement, competitive skills, energy, motivation, enthusiasm and integrity is critical to success in this role.
  7. Must be able and willing to travel.
