Franklin Covey Education is seeking a candidate to help build, implement and manage the user experience of the division’s Higher Education digital products. The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing elegant, intuitive digital products in the education industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee product management of Company’s Higher Education digital products
  • Work with Higher Ed Practice Team Leader and Director of Digital Strategy to set product vision and strategy
  • Responsible for maintaining and evolving product roadmap based on customer and internal stakeholder input
  • Work closely with FC Education’s technical product managers to ensure effective coordination of product development needs and priorities
  • Clearly articulate business requirements so software development team can execute efficient code
  • Prioritize features based on strategic goals and initiatives
  • Define, coordinate and implement sprint and release cycles
  • Monitor passive usage metrics and conduct market research to refine product strategy and planning based on customer needs
  • Liaise with Product Development and Marketing to ensure quality and brand consistency
  • Create documentation and repositories to maintain content continuity 
  • Stay up-to-date with digital and education technology trends

 

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • 5+ years product management experience, preferably with educational and/or Higher Education digital products
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with designers to design and iterate on products
  • Strong project & time management skills
  • Experience with managing API Integrations
  • Experience with Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL; Rails or other app frameworks a strong plus
  • Experience with Github a strong plus
  • Technical experience with Learning Management Systems a strong plus
  • Interpersonal skills with a keen ability to explain complex concepts to a wide range of tech-savvy executives
  • Motivated, self-starter, independent, results oriented professional
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Track record of working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Technology-curious – interest in new tech, new gadgets, etc.
