Title: The Leader In Me Technical Product Manager

Reports to:  Director of Digital Strategy

Essential Job Requirements

  • Oversee product management of Company’s K12 Education digital products
  • Work with Director, Digital Strategy to set product vision and strategy
  • Manage cross-functional teams in product, design and engineering
  • Responsible for maintaining and evolving product roadmap based on customer and internal stakeholder input
  • Manage full product development lifecycle – from concept, to design, to alpha/beta releases, to testing & QA, to release and post-release code maintenance – while maintaining cost controls
  • Clearly articulate business requirements so development team can execute efficient code
  • Prioritize features based on strategic goals and initiatives
  • Define, coordinate and implement sprint and release cycles
  • Monitor passive usage metrics and conduct market research to refine product strategy and planning based on customer needs
  • Liaise with Product Development and Marketing to ensure quality and brand consistency
  • Create documentation and repositories to maintain content continuity 
  • Stay up-to-date with digital and education technology trends

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years product management experience, preferably with educational and/or Higher Education digital products
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with designers to design and iterate on products
  • Knowledge of consumer marketing research and analytics
  • Strong project & time management skills
  • Interpersonal skills with a keen ability to explain complex concepts to a wide range of tech-savvy executives
  • Technical experience with Learning Management Systems a strong plus
  • Motivated, self-starter, independent, results oriented professional
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Track record of working across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Technology-curious – interest in new tech, new gadgets, etc.
