Title: Technical Product Manager, LeaderU Higher Education
Reports to: Director of Digital Strategy, Education Practice


Job Summary

Franklin Covey Education is seeking a candidate to help implement and manage the user experience of the division’s Higher Education digital products under the LeaderU brand. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing digital products, serving client needs, communicating with internal teams, and developing and executing a product road map.


Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee product management of Company’s Higher Education digital products for the globe
  • Manage Canvas LMS courses and exams
  • Manage integrations with Canvas
  • Serve and respond to client technical needs
  • Manage content, descriptions, and other features of a Resource Library
  • Build systems and processes to improve client experience
  • Work with the Director of Digital Strategy to set product vision and strategy
  • Responsible for maintaining and evolving product roadmap based on customer and internal stakeholder input
  • Work closely with FC Education’s technical product managers to ensure effective coordination of product development needs and priorities
  • Clearly articulate business requirements so software development team can execute efficient code
  • Define, coordinate and implement sprint and release cycles
  • Create and monitor usage metrics, create reports, and draw insights
  • Conduct market research to refine product strategy based on customer needs
  • Liaise with Product Development and Marketing and International Partners to ensure quality and brand consistency
  • Create documentation and repositories to maintain content continuity
  • Stay up-to-date with digital and education technology trends

Job Requirements


Job Requirements

  • Passion for Higher Education and business growth
  • 2+ years of product management experience, preferably with educational digital products
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and help resolve their needs
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to a wide range of people
  • Strong project & time management skills
  • Experience with managing API Integrations
  • Motivated, self-starter, independent, results-oriented professional
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with designers to design and iterate on products
  • Technical experience with Learning Management Systems a strong plus
  • Experience as a TA is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Business experience is a plus
